What data we process

We mainly process names, positions, organisations, business email addresses and telephone numbers, contact and delivery details, invoicing information, and the content of enquiries and business correspondence.

FORENTICA does not request patient, medical, genetic, biometric or forensic case data through the website or contact form. Demonstrations, training and technical support should normally use test, masked or anonymised data.

Why we use your data

Personal data may be processed to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, enter into and perform contracts, deliver and service equipment, organise demonstrations and training, comply with accounting and other legal obligations, maintain information security and protect our legitimate interests.

Legal basis

Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on steps taken before entering into a contract or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests or consent where consent is required.

Recipients and international transfers

Where necessary, data may be shared with accounting, IT, hosting and cloud providers, couriers and logistics partners, manufacturers or authorised service partners, professional advisers and competent public authorities.

Where processing involves recipients outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are applied in accordance with applicable law.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. Enquiries that do not result in a contractual relationship are normally retained for up to 24 months. Contractual, accounting and other records are kept for the applicable statutory and limitation periods.
